People come to Vermont for many reasons, not the least of which are to buy many of the wonderful things that Vermont has to offer like maple syrup, local craftsmen products, and handcrafted and artist-made items.
We now sell Stewarts maple syrup, Sprungwood charcuterie boards, Smead Woodworking cutting boards, Karen Weinstein handmade wood signs, and a large assortment of items from Noble Bird, such as prints, greeting cards, tea towels, and more.
We have also started purchasing from small businesses all over the United States that provide handcrafted, small-batch items, from small family businesses to resell in this handcrafted area. These items include wood signs, tier tray signs, home decor items, dried lavender, pampas reeds, and more.
We here in Vermont, are very proud of our local area and we are not scared to work hard. This is clear in the hours spent on handcrafted workmanship, and the long and arduous process that goes into making maple syrup. We are proud of our craftsmanship and of the products we create. We urge you to bring a little piece of that old comfort that comes with being in Vermont, home with you.
It's where we grew our roots and we won't forget it!
Consignment is our history here at Twice Upon a Time and we honor its value within our local community. There are many of us that have unwanted clutter in our home or storage units we would love to get rid of but don't want to throw away our investments in these items. These days we all have avenues open to us to sell our items online or in a yard sale but it is hard work and time consuming and we generally do not get back even a fraction of what we think these items are worth. We started off as a small consignment store dealing mainly in children's clothing and now we have grown to larger avenues for families to offload unneeded items in a hassle-free experience.
We no longer sell consignment clothing in our store. There are other smaller shops in town that have taken on that need. We now consign furniture, collectibles, glassware, antiques, home decor, and jewelry on consignment. The premise of a consignment is that we sell it for you in our historic Main St, Brattleboro location. We display, price, and inventory these items and at the end of the contract, the consignor gets paid out a percentage of what the item sold for. This is a winning situation for everyone involved and brings money back into our local community.

Our shop is eclectic because of the family of amazing vendors in our shop. Our goal is to make each vendor a valued member of our Twice Upon A Time family and everything we do is in service of that goal. Our contract is straightforward and our rates vary from small booths with shelves to larger floor spaces depending on your needs. We like to meet and talk with you about your particular needs before suggesting a good fit within the shop but we welcome the strange and unique as well as the utilitarian and every day. If you would like to know more about what we can offer you or you would like to set up a meeting, please email me at Nicole.firstname.lastname@example.org or call the shop and we will set it up! Thank you, in advance, for your interest and inquiry!
